Description

All our Family Ensuite Cabins are roomy, have a front balcony with outdoor chairs, fully self-contained, and are non-smoking.

Cabin Rates (from 1/7/11)

Off-Peak – $110.00 for 1-2 persons per night
(PLUS off-peak 7th, 14th night etc FREE)

Peak – $110.00 for 1-2 persons per night

Costs for extra people
Age 16+ – $15 per night (including linen and bedding)
Age 5-15years – $15 per night (including linen and bedding)
Age 0-4 – no charge if you BYO cot etc or BYO single sheets/blankets/pillow/towels (otherwise a $5.50 hire linen/bedding for EACH night of your stay.)

Persons under 18 years of age NOT permitted to stay in this Tourist Park without onsite adult supervision. Age ID may be requested.

Bed Linen
For each person aged 5 and over, we supply FREE, the sheets, 2 blankets, vinyl pillow & pillowslip, and one towel.

*NOTE: children aged 4 and under are FREE, and do NOT have any linen, blankets, pillows, or towels supplied. A fee of $5.50 per child per night will apply if we supply any bedding for them.

A FREE changeover of sheets, pillowslips & towel is supplied every 7 days.
You may use the park's laundry to wash in between as needed (fees apply $3 wash, $1 dry).

Single Night surcharge
2 night minimum ALL offpeak weekends.
If only one night is booked off peak MIDWEEK, a surcharge of $28 will be applied.
Top Tourist Discount does not apply to this Surcharge.

Off Peak Weekly Discount
If you book a week at a time, Christies Beach Tourist Park will reward you (during off peak only) with a discount. Full payment for your stay, is on arrival please (no cheques accepted).

Top Tourist Member Discount applies all year round IN ADDITION to Off Peak Weekly Discount.
Discount does not apply to surcharges, nor if booked through a Visitor Centre or Travel Agency.

Each cabin has a shower and toilet, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, microwave, four gas hotplates, electric frypan, saucepans & stockpot, full sized fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, colour TV with DVD player, iron and ironing board, vinyl pillows and a hairdryer.

All cabins have two separate bedrooms. The second bedroom has 2 pair of bunks in an L-shape (ie 4 beds). The cabins sleep up to 5 or 6 persons comfortably, with a maximum of 4 adults.

All beds for persons aged 5 & over, are provided with sheets, 2 blankets, pillow, pillowslip & a towel each.

We have two wheelchair friendly cabins with an access entry ramp, huge spacious main bedroom for easy wheelchair access, and a disabled-access bathroom.

Strictly one car parking space per cabin.

Please BYO baby's Portacot, and cot linen and towel.

A baby's HIGH-CHAIR is available for FREE use during your stay (but please book this prior to your arrival, so we can take it down to your cabin). If your child is aged 4 and under, please BYO sheets, blankets, pillow & towel, or a $5.50 per night fee will be charged for hire linen.

Please also note that disabled, or elderly people, or hospital patients recovering, have PRIORITY for the wheelchair friendly cabins.

  • The  bathroom  has  a  one-level  floor,  has  a  Disabled  Toilet  with  handrail,  sliding door,  mobile  3- tier  trolley  caddy,   the  shower  has  a  shower chair and  is  enclosed  with  2  shower  curtains,  and  has  a  hand-held  shower  rose-spray 
  • Main  bedroom  is  huge, enabling  ample wheelchair access alongside bed.
  • Mattress protectors, sheets, 2 blankets, pillows, pillowslips, and a towel for each person, is supplied FREE for each person pre-booked
  • The main bedroom has a King-size bed, which can be unzipped to form 2 King Single beds. If singles are required, you will need to pre-book this as the blankets, linen etc need to be changed over to singles.
  • During  your  stay,  free  change-over  of  all  linen  every  7  days, unless  you  wish  to  use  the  Laundry  facilities  yourself  (in  between)  in  the  Amenities  block  (currently  $3.00  wash/$1.00  dry)
  • 2nd  bedroom  currently  has  a  Double/Duo  (double  bed  against  the  wall  with  a  single  bunk  mounted  over  the  top) (both mattresses have waterproof mattress protectors)
  • NOTE  -  we  only  supply  the  linen,  we  do  NOT  make  the  beds up in the 2nd bedroom
  • Full-size  fridge/freezer 
  • Cooking  facilities  include  4  gas  Hotplates  with  electronic  ignition,  LOW  Microwave,  Electric  Frypan,  Saucepans,  Stockpot ,  Kettle,  Toaster,  Crockery  &  Cutlery,  Utensils,  microwave  dishes,  salad  bowls,  chopping  board,  water  jug  etc.  in  LOW  cupboards

IMPORTANT -  These  are  NOT  “fully”  disabled  cabins,  but  are  “Wheelchair  Friendly”
Respite Agencies etc MUST take responsibility for income loss if their client or carer smokes indoors, and for repair invoices for unacceptable damages incurred, eg by wheelchairs, lifting equipment, moving furniture around, keys lost or broken off in the doors, etc.

NOTE: Our office, games room, internet kiosk, laundry, and bbq/camp kitchen areas, ALL have convenient level entrances.

All sites have a space for a caravan, annexe + 1 car, however
please advise us how long your van is when booking.

SHORT TERM STAYS (over 1 month) in Cabin accommodation

  • Maximum 10 minutes drive to Port Stanvac Desal Plant and Lonsdale Industrial Area (see aerial photo above).
  • Self-contained kitchen, non-smoking, 2 bedroomed cabin, ensuite, TV, heated/cooled, linen provided & changed weekly.
  • Maximum 2 workmen per cabin with one car parking space.
  • One whole month payable in advance on arrival (less deposit) at normal tourist rates.
  • Cheques not accepted.
  • Reduced weekly rate from the 5th week, (eg $450 per week for 1 or 2 persons)
  • Inspection of the park welcome, so come & introduce yourself at the office. Or phone or email for price, availability & conditions of your stay.

SHORT TERM STAYS (over 1 month) on a Powered Site

  • you must supply your own caravan, which must be in good condition (at managers discretion)
  • your caravan and annexe will be on a doublesize cement slab
  • $100 deposit required with a definite arrival date
  • first 4 weeks rent is at current tourist rates (eg for 1 or 2 persons $174 per week offpeak including electricity)
  • 4 weeks rent MUST be paid in a lump sum on arrival
  • we do NOT accept any cheques
  • normal maximum Top Tourist member discount allowed
  • from the 5th week, the rent is payable weekly in advance, and reduces to $145 per week (for 1 or 2 persons) including electricity
  • extra fees apply to more than 2 adults and/or children aged 5 and over (please ask)
  • your departure date is then kept "open" up to 6 months from your arrival date
  • no pets
  • one car parking space
  • conditions & park rules apply
  • 5 minutes walk from bus stop
  • no Permanent stays - maximum stay 6 months (or discuss these terms with us)

if you don't pay the 4 weeks in full on arrival, then you don't get a weekly rent reduction, nor do we "hold" your site for up to 6 month stay.
